Stage Two:

Finalize CDR master with changes (if any)

Send liner notes (pithy and well proofed in digital format) and tray card info
(with track names, timings, performers names, all credits), artwork suggestions
(printed photos or high-quality scanned images ((copyright free!)), drawings,
textures, look/feel ideas)

Send press kit to innova: several interesting photos, bios.

Proof artwork and liner notes (we'll send PDFs or post them online), send to
print.

Request mechanical licenses (if necessary)

Prepare promotional one-sheet. The official street release date follows at
least 8 weeks after this document (though you will likely have product before).

Develop marketing plan
AFTER CDS RECEIVED (4-6 weeks approx)
CDs go to:
400 at least to artist
300 to distributor
200 to distributor for promo purposes
Remainder to innova
Up to 100 raw promos are put in innova mailers and go out separately to
industry essentials and targeted press (e.g., radio, print/web critics,
catalogs, encoders)
We report radio playlists and reviews to you.
We take out periodic ads in select magazines. All titles are included in
Sounding Board, the ACF newsletter.

duplications (we'll do likewise)
